Violist Natalia Vershilova Daniels is a graduate of the Leningrad Conservatory and a tenured member of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra. Before coming to the Bay Area, she resided in Hawaii where she performed as soloist with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra and taught at Punahoe school.
As a soloist, Natalia has also appeared with Sinfonia San Francisco, San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, the Russian Chamber Orchestra, and Elixir Chamber Orchestra. She frequently performs with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, various other ensembles throughout the Bay Area, and has taught viola at Stanford University.
Natalia is a dedicated student of the Japanese language and culture. She also explores other genres of music and improvisation. An avid folk music enthusiast, she is the fiddle player with the American folk group The Goat Family.
